Restart the Laptop
Press “Ctrl,” “Alt” and “Delete” at the same time to bring up the Windows Task Manager window.
Press and hold down “Alt” key, then tap the “U” key on your keyboard.
Release the “Alt” key.
Press the “R” key on the keyboard to restart the laptop.

Why is my mouse frozen on my HP laptop?
Look for a touchpad icon (often F5, F7 or F9) and: Press this key. If this fails:* Press this key in unison with the “Fn” (function) key at the bottom of your laptop (often located between the “Ctrl” and “Alt” keys).
How do you unlock the mousepad on a laptop?
